I started AnywhereCam back in 2020 with one simple goal: provide high quality, durable, and easy to use surveillance cameras for anyone, anywhere they need it. After 2 years of R&D, we started to sell to the public and the response was greater than we had imagined. After analyzing and forecasting the next 12-24 months, I felt that our current financial situation left us unprepared to handle rapid growth and financial demands that were quickly approaching. Thankfully NCRLF helped me secure the capital necessary to properly grow AnywhereCam. Valerie and Andrea were wonderful to work with and made the paperwork and the entire process very streamlined and simple, which is crucial to me as a small business owner with many hats and not enough hours in the day. Western Wags Mobile Dog Grooming was established in the fall of 2022 and proudly serves Akron, Co and surrounding area. Jo Bunjes, owner and groomer has been grooming for 18 years and is very passionate about offering quality and professional care to all pets! NCRLF truly was the reason Western Wags got to have a chance. Unable to qualify for traditional funding, NCRLF stepped in and gave Western Wags the chance to prove it could be successful! Lorenzo Apothecary officially opened in October 2017, which was started by David Lorenzo. I wanted to provide a pharmacy that was there for the customer. I wanted to provide service to the customer without hassle and service that was friendly and without a long wait, as well as other options for customers than what is currently available such as bioidentical hormonal compounds. I enjoy being able to greet the customers as they enter the store and offer the best service and best prices in town. I was born and raised in Sterling. I became a registered pharmacist in 1994. I am proud to have had this opportunity to have the vision, design and open this pharmacy and to be the first accredited UCAP / NABP compounding pharmacy in northeast Colorado. I reached out to the Northeast Colorado Revolving Loan Fund because I liked the small-town, friendly service know how. They were an easy group of people to address with my vision and expectations. Like all startup businesses, Graham Electric PLanter, LLC, located in Sterling, CO was looking for financing. Dale Anderson, of EZ Irrigation in Wray, CO., told us to check with NCRLF in Yuma, CO. We met with Valerie Hibbert in August of 2012 and explained our business and outlined our financial needs. Within 2 days, we were notified that the NCRLF would be available to provide an operating loan. He also put us in contact with Darrell Berger of FMS Bank, Greeley, CO for help in securing long term financing. The flexibility and knowledge of business financial needs, makes NCRLF a vital first step for new and expanding businesses. With the funds Graham Electric Planter received, we were able to increase our employee number from 3 to 12, which allowed us to keep up with the demand for product. We now have our products running in the U.S., Australia, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa and Ukraine. We have had a loan with Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan since 2003. We found it amazing how easy it was to apply for the loan and easily the staff worked with us to complete the transaction! In 2010 we used the Revolving Loan program again; to assist us in completing the “vision” we had for our company to begin a recycling program through the waste business. We were able to erect a building and created 2 full time jobs in Northeastern Colorado. We highly recommend the Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan program! Words cannot express how grateful I am that Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan Fund believed in my vision in bringing a product to market just as much as I did. If it had not been for NCRLF I would of never received the funding to take my prototype that started out as a drawing on a piece of paper to an actual product that is now sold nationwide and has been for over four years now. My Award winning Busy Breathers Deluxe Oxygen Backpack is sold at local Colorado Walgreens, Walgreens.com, Drugstore.com and many other companies that sell oxygen supply products. I had tried numerous avenues to get the funding I needed to place the order for my first production run but couldn’t find a bank or private investor that would loan me the money. I didn’t meet much of the criteria needed to receive traditional funding and that is when the Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan Fund came to my rescue. I can remember the phone call that I received from Dan Simmons saying “He felt like taking a risk and believed in my product”, just like it was yesterday! It was one of the best phone calls I have ever received! It was always a pleasure to work with Dan and Valerie. If I ran up against issues along the way all I had to do was call them and let them know what was going on.
