Helping Small Business Build Our Regional Economy
NCRLF provides small business loans in the six counties of northeastern Colorado. Loans are made to benefit communities, through new or existing services or products and job growth. The underlying funding for these loans originates as either Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, other grants available from time to time, or revolved funds (also known as direct loans). Underwriting requirements and restrictions vary for both loans.
The purpose of the NCRLF is to create new employment and expand the economic base through the provision of investment capital to new and existing businesses. It is our intent to offer loans to applicants that otherwise could not obtain conventional financing. NCRLF also steps in to partner with banks to fill any gap when they cannot provide all necessary financing. The use of funds can be used for furniture, fixtures, equipment, real estate and working capital.

Your Success Grows Our Community
Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan Fund was founded in 1988 as a non-profit organization, for the purpose of creating and administering a revolving loan fund to provide gap financing to new and existing industry and small businesses in the four county areas consisting of the counties of Sedgwick, Washington, Yuma and Phillips. Morgan County and the City of Sterling were added to NCRLF during the 1990s. Logan County Revolving Loan Fund, through agreement, was merged into NCRLF in 2000.
The NCRLF provides services to six counties in extreme Northeastern Colorado. The board of directors consists of two members from each county in an effort to provide equal representation and thorough coverage of the service areas. We live where you work and all decisions are made locally.
NCRLF as a well-established nonprofit is the only local organization that exclusively assists small businesses in financing. We serve start ups and existing businesses, even those that may not qualify with traditional lenders. The growth in our communities is dependent on job creation and benefits the quality of life for us all.
Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan Fund is located in Yuma, Colorado.
We have a defined market that consists of six counties. The counties cover over 9,900 square miles of rural, mostly agricultural land in the far northeastern corner of the state of Colorado. Finance provided by NCRLF must be geographically located within these confines.
